Cargo Chic

These cargo pants I got a couple of years back when I use to work at Lane Bryant. Since then they have gotten a lot roomy then I remembered but I like the relaxed and casual chic look it gives.

Happy 4th of July !!!!

Turquoise Vino

With all the snow days here in North Carolina in the past week,  it gave me some extra time to plan a shoot this weekend as I watched the snow melt.   The cold air was a little rough but keeping up with looks in Fashion Week gave me the inspiration I needed to get it done. And also some styles to look forward to in warmer weather.  What trends of Fashion Week got you motivated for the summer?

Paisley Goes Again

I hope everyone had an awesome Christmas as it came and went. Now Im eager to see what the new year will have in store for me. More blessings I hope. In the mean time I plan to still enjoy the rest of my break before school starts back again.  For my look I bagged both these studded boots (similar on sale here!)  and cheetah print blouse last year at Lane Bryant. And these paisley pants, which Ive worn on a past post I bought earlier this year on a thrift run.

A Pattern To Follow

Stressful, hectic, and long are words to describe my previous week. An exam,  a pop history quiz, a group presentation and a lot of sewing samples to get done. Though I remember not to complain because I know how blessed I am to be able to continue a college education. But some days the struggle can be real with schoolwork. But on the upside of things I joined MFA this past Friday ! Im so stoked to be a apart of a fashion related club where I can meet people of the same interest, network, and just have some fun....Which is long overdue.

Me and Jen did this shoot few weeks ago during the first couple of weeks of school on our leisure time on campus. And I have been meaning to upload them for the longest. This neutral colored cardigan I consider to be my go to piece whenever its a little chill outside, I don't feel like showing my arms in a sleeveless top, or just something simple to complete a casual outfit.   The blouse and cargo pants are like a year old from when I use to work at Lane Bryant and there still fitting me quite nicely ! On long class days I tend to go for the baggy but relax style of clothing. Yet still continue to have some fun with coordinating colors.

Parade Of Festivity

Fiesta is the word!.....Well, when describing this awesome vintage men blouse it is. I felt like I was more than ready to partake in a parade or some sort of festivity. I find myself becoming a sucker for over-sized collard shirts this year. They can be dressed up, dressed down, and so comfy... can you blame me!? Having it paired with some cute summer-y shorts I think it gives a little colorful spin on the "Boyfriend Look" trend.
