For The People Who Never Go Crazy

"I feel bad for the people who never go crazy." -Anonymous

My semester of college starts this week and I am more than ready to reunite with my friends. Getting reacquainted with homework however, that's a different story...  My objectives this weekend is packing and trying to finish my self given project of making a skirt for my mom.  For my look, I think this might be one of my favorite shoots to date.  I felt so creatively free  with going a little print happy with pairing outfit pieces. I bought the cardigan (similar here),  geo crop top (plus size here), and jogger pants (plus similar here)  from Rainbows about two weeks ago while Christmas shopping with my mom. This is definitely a great place to shop for some of the latest fashion trends at low-end prices and brands.  With my money mostly going to books and sewing supplies, this helps me to get the fashionable looks I want with reasonable prices I can actually afford. Plato's Closet is also a great place to shop, especially for gently used name brand clothing at cheaper prices, which you can also swap your brand name clothing and accessories for cash.  This is where I bagged my ankle combat boots.  What high fashion trends do you find price alternatives for?

A Pattern To Follow

Stressful, hectic, and long are words to describe my previous week. An exam,  a pop history quiz, a group presentation and a lot of sewing samples to get done. Though I remember not to complain because I know how blessed I am to be able to continue a college education. But some days the struggle can be real with schoolwork. But on the upside of things I joined MFA this past Friday ! Im so stoked to be a apart of a fashion related club where I can meet people of the same interest, network, and just have some fun....Which is long overdue.

Me and Jen did this shoot few weeks ago during the first couple of weeks of school on our leisure time on campus. And I have been meaning to upload them for the longest. This neutral colored cardigan I consider to be my go to piece whenever its a little chill outside, I don't feel like showing my arms in a sleeveless top, or just something simple to complete a casual outfit.   The blouse and cargo pants are like a year old from when I use to work at Lane Bryant and there still fitting me quite nicely ! On long class days I tend to go for the baggy but relax style of clothing. Yet still continue to have some fun with coordinating colors.

Stripes Of Geo

I think the sun was definitely playing with me today with this outfit as it was going in and out of the clouds.  Either way, it didn't stop my eagerness to pair up some cool prints today.

I think this sundress may literally be the first dress ever that I have found to form-fit me perfectly without making me look too wide or bigger at the top.  I don't usually where many dresses. But when I do I have to be careful with some like the elastic waist or sash dresses that tends to make me look wider than I really am.

This clutch is so dang eye-catching in which I have gotten a lot of compliments off of .  Can you believe it that I go it at a discount store for half its value! (DANCES)
Original price: $24    Discount price: $12!
I was such in awe when I first discovered these thrifted earrings last year.  They are so unique and still in perfect condition from when I bagged them.  I'm just realizing it now but they kinda give off a tribal feel similar to my clutch. Don't you think?
This wrap-around bracelet is also another item I spotted at a discount store.  They are quite convenient because you can literally throw it around your arm and keep it moving. Although some bangles are very fashionably cute, I really hate the ones where you have to squeeze your arm into and its then hard to get off! (SO ANNOYING)
